We're all about the food! But we also think you should be able to get to know your farmers and producers while having a great time with music, market guests and special events. Come and check it out!
Market Sprouts
Kids are the future and we want them to ask the right questions about the food they eat. On Wednesdays June through August, Jess is on hand to give a little lesson in foods and farms before handing out the ever popular token for fresh goodies!

Local chefs join us throughout the summer to share their ideas, expertise, and pointers on making the most of your market bounty!
Community Garden
The garden is located in Petoskey and is home to over 30 plots used by local families for growing their own fruits and vegetables. A community strawberry patch is a popular addition!
Field Trips
We're excited about some upcoming improvements in the field trips offered through FFOF! In the fall of 2018 look for a variety of farms offering grade and curriculum specific field trips with classroom followup developed by our team of teachers and farmers.
Girls Can Farm
Geared for middle school age girls, this is a week long, hands dirty learning about farming experience. Planting, weeding, picking, selling at market, and learning to drive a tractor are all part of this five day adventure!
